Loup Loup Ski Patrol is open to anyone 15 and older, and who have enough confidence skiing or snowboarding to take a sled down the hill, training provided. Frequently, the Loup has a diverse collection of ages from high schoolers to retired doctors.
The hill is always looking for more individuals to help cover all the days of the week that the Loup is open. A typical schedule in the winter is a full weekend every other week, or if it fits your schedule better once a week on one of the operating days which are, as of 2019, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all major holidays. A patrol day starts before the chair opens and patrol is the last one on the hill for sweep. While its a long day it also means the most skiing out of anyone on the hill! |
The Loup recognizes the incredible effort ski patrol volunteers puts into their training and offer daily passes during training for candidates and season's passes for full time patrollers. Another perk is our morning starts with first tracks while we look for obstacles to mark. |
If you would like to contact the Loup Loup Ski Patrol about being a candidate email [email protected].
